behind the evil
jeremy Clubb
Co-director
Jeremy has always been enamored with the theatre. He lettered in Drama and continued theatrical and technical studies into college. Ever since then, besides one brief hiatus when his children were born, he has been working with as many theatre companies as he could. Doing everything from season selection, stage management, lights, sound, set construction, technical directing, acting, producing, directing, and more. Except costumes…. He is no good with a needle and should be kept away from sharp, shiny objects. Some of his favorite roles have been “Adam” in the Complete Works of William Shakespeare, “Peachy” in the Last Night at Ballyhoo, and “Prince Ahmed” in Twisted: the Musical. He would like to extend a special thanks to his ever-patient wife and 3 kids for supporting him through all these adventures over the years. He often says his greatest talent is finding talented people and surrounding himself with creative inspiration. And now, he is thrilled at this opportunity to bring this rip-roaringly funny show to the Salem area.
andi bean
Co-director
Andi Bean is enthralled with all things musical theater, especially those with tongue in cheek humor, and extra points for the unusual! She has spent many years working with productions throughout the Salem area, including performances with companies up north to Portland and south to Albany. Most of her experiences have been in the musician pit, playing violin, music directing, vocal directing, helping with special recording effects and even the occasional role on stage . This is the second production co-directing with Jeremy Clubb and it probably won't be the last. Through her years playing with orchestras, leading music rehearsals and private violin teaching, Andi has honed her skills in bossing people around to the highest quality end product to make audiences laugh, cry, and after this production, walk away splattered in some blood.
In her "normal" life, Andi works as an Operations & Policy Analyst for the Department of Human Services, continues to perfect her sourdough bread baking, plays as many board games as people will submit to, and is currently in the process of building her dream home with her husband Mark in a quiet oceanside town.
